Induction Heating Application Cases by Industry: Aluminum Processing
High reproducibility! Introducing examples of high-frequency induction heating applied to aluminum brazing.
We will introduce examples of the application of induction heating in aluminum brazing. Aluminum is a lightweight and strong material, used in various parts such as piping components and automotive parts. However, due to its high thermal conductivity and low melting point, it has been said that thermal processing is difficult. ■ High thermal conductivity The thermal conductivity is about three times that of iron. When heating only the desired area, heat can also transfer to other areas, causing distortion. ■ Low melting point The melting point of aluminum is 660°C. In brazing, the melting points of commonly used silver brazing and copper brazing are close to this, requiring advanced skills from experienced workers for aluminum brazing. By using induction heating, which excels in temperature control, and brazing materials specifically designed for aluminum brazing, efficient aluminum brazing becomes possible. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
